Footer

The ‘Footer’ section provides functionality aimed at configuring the look and feel of the footer.

This section is divided into two sub-sections, namely the ‘Widget Area’, which may be populated through the ‘Appearance > Widgets’ WordPress section ..

.. and and the ‘Copyright Bar’; within which, copyright text, and social media links may be configured.

As with Header configurations, there are a number of footer styles which one may opt for, with each style determining the number of columns available within the Widget Area.

Samples of the available footer styles have been included below; note that with the exception of the dedicated brand logo component; which will always be added at the top of the first column, any WordPress widget may be added into any of the available Widget Area columns.

Single Column, Centre Aligned

Two Columns (Equal Widths)

Three Columns (Equal Widths)

Four Columns (Equal Widths)

Four Columns (Wider First Column)

Aside from setting colours and padding; site administrators have the ability to make changes to the copyright text being appended to the end of ‘© 2024 Company Name’ (e.g. all rights reserved) as well as optionally adding any number of social media links, by uploading an associated icon, and setting the target URL; as shown within the below images
