Carousel - Latest News
This component displays the latest news articles. Administrators have the facility to determine whether to filter results based on category, or show news articles from all available categories. Administrators are also able to determine the number of results to show across the various resolutions; with the following values being used in this case.
- Slides to Show (Mobile Horizontal): 1.8
- Slides to Show (Tablet): 3.2
- Slides to Show (Small Desktop): 4.3
- Slides to Show (Large Desktop): 4
Note that on vertical mobile resolutions, we will always show one slide at a time. Slides will rotate every 6 seconds unless interacted with or hovered upon by the user.
We are also able to choose which style of news pod to use within carousels, with the ‘Full width image above content’ option being displayed in this instance.
Similar to the above, the following component displays a pre-filtered result-set of news articles, however in this case, only articles tagged under the ‘News’ category are being displayed.
Administrators are able to determine the style of news pod to be used. Here, the ‘Background image behind content’ style is in use.
As with to the above examples, the following component displays a pre-filtered result-set of news articles, however in this case, only articles tagged as ‘Press Release’ or ‘Uncategorised’ are being displayed.
Administrators are able to determine the news pod’s style. Here, the ‘Simple – no image’ style is being used.
In the below example, results are not being filtered, as such, the latest news articles of any category are being output.
The ‘Background image behind content’ style is once again in use here, however pod colours and number of pods visible across resolutions are different; in order to showcase the extent of this component’s configurability.
